The original edition of this Pope John Paul II statue was limited to 26 reproductions. To create this replica, a mold was made of one of the originals and then cast in a high qualilty resin. One of the last statues made of the beloved Pope John Paul II is now available to grace the homes of the faithful in loving memory of this great man. About the artist of this rendition: Mike has been blessed with many talents. He is an accomplished artist, musician, illustrator, and retired professional football player. Mike was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1985, and continued to play professional football for four years before a 1989 injury ended his career. Falling back on his other natural born talent, his artwork, he went on to receive many commissions for his sculpture pieces such as Merrill Lynch, USA Today, the NFL Hall of Fame, the College Football Hall of Fame, and the National Wildlife Research Center in Fort Collins.
